block ip adress (General)

i want to block one ip adress because of spamming in my guestbook. :-/

settings admin menue > spam > block ip ...
i wrote the ip and after that i wasn't able to access my page.

got code 403: forbitten:
You don't have permission to access this page.

although i have another ip.

do you know how i can block 1 ip adress?
